:
The students desirous of joining my group should have
a very good academic record with strong background/interest in one or more of
the following branches of Science and Engineering :
Solid State Physics and Quantum Mechanics
Semiconductor Device Physics and Technology
Materials Science and Process Engineering
Electronics Circuit Design
Biotechnology / Bioengineering
The students can enrol for Ph.D. degree in my group
either through the ECE Department (EC)
or through the Interdisciplinary Ph.D. program
on Nanoengineering for Integrated Systems (NI).
The admission is through interview process as detailed
in the IISc Admissions web site.
The students with B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc. degree can also directly register for Ph.D.
degree.
