INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE SPCOM 2010 PRESENTER

(Plenary Talks)

 

Dear SPCOM 2010 Plenary-Talk Presenter:

Welcome to SPCOM 2010!   We want to take this opportunity to make you familiar with the formalities of the technical presentation:

 

1.  Nominal duration of each plenary presentation is 55 minutes (including speaker introduction) Following this, time permitting, 5 minutes are reserved for questions and answers. Discussion beyond these 5 minutes will have to take place offline during the coffee breaks.

 

2.  Session chairs will enforce these time constraints.

 

3.  Laptop & projector will be provided for the presentations.

 

4.  You are kindly requested to upload your slides to the local computer connected to the projector at least 15 minutes *BEFORE* the beginning of the session so as to avoid unnecessary technical problems and delays.

 

5.  A student volunteer will be available in the JN Tata Auditorium  to assist you

Dear SPCOM 2010  Invited-Talk Presenter:

1.  Nominal duration of each invited presentation (including speaker introduction) is 27 minutes  Following this, time permitting, 3 minutes are reserved for questions and answers. Discussion beyond these 3 minutes will have to take place offline during the coffee breaks.
