Course Content

This course may be viewed as a second course in the theory and application of error-correcting codes. Topics to be covered will be drawn from among: Polar Codes, Coded Caching, Coded Computation, Data Storage in Block Chains. If time permits, the course may also select additional topic(s) from among Quantum Error-Correction, Locally Decodable Codes, Codes for Private Information Retrieval and Codes for Streaming.
